I've always been a writer. It just took me a while to believe it.
Growing up, they tell you writing and art don't pay bills. So you push the dream down and you survive. Being a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, and a friend — you pour yourself into everyone and everything. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you forget what's yours.
I am a child of God first. A wife. A mother. A dreamer who spent too many years in survival mode to see what was always right in front of her. Writing was always it.
I finally gave myself permission.
The Storyverse is what happens when you stop waiting and start. It's not too late. It was never too late.
